Good morning,

I am Jeremy's Studio Art teacher and Advisory teacher. Jeremy will be in my Art class for the entire year (4th period). And our Advisory class is a short time before lunch where we read books, have book talks, and get to know each other. I also keep track of behavior documents and tardies. I wanted to let you know that Jeremy has accumulated 4 tardies. After 5 tardies I am required to submit them with a long form, and the result is 2 days in SAC. Three of Jeremy's tardies are from his 2nd period class. I spoke with Jeremy about ways to manage his time between classes so he can avoid that fifth tardy slip.
Jeremy is doing great in Art class. He gets his work done and stays on task, and he has a happy attitude that's very contagious :) We have recently been decorating our art portfolios, and Jeremy has done an excellent job! I am so glad he is in my class this year. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Powell

I had to share this with everybody-It made my day -not so much the tardies

Wonder if those tardies could be a little thing he may have picked up from his father? Definite possibility...GREAT REPORT NONETHELESS! The tardies are small in the grand scheme of things! Love you J!
